Description
ARMOR Lubricants offers the new API SQ engine oil GF-7 standard, which are the New Generation Engine Oils designed for better fuel economy, cleaner engines, and improved protection. API SQ builds on the previous API SP standard with additional technology to insure LSPI (low-speed pre-ignition) protection especially for modern TGDI Turbo Gasoline Direct Injection and GDI Gasoline Direct Injection engines. The New Engine Oil API SQ Specification also reduces ash buildup, helping protect gas particulate filters (GPF) in newer vehicles. Cold-weather performance is improved too. ILSAC GF-7 and API SQ oils will be backwards compatible for vehicles using GF-6 and API SP oils.
